Take Your Dog To Work Day® was created to help homeless dogs find good homes and lifelong companionship. These dogs have great personalities and a lot of unconditional love to give.
The idea behind Take Your Dog To Work Day® is simple—encourage businesses to devote one special day to dogs and their owners as a means of spreading the word about what great companions dogs truly make.
As the creator of this annual event, Pet Sitters International believes that by allowing dogs in the workplace, co-workers who have never before experienced the love and companionship of a dog, or have forgotten the joy that a pet can bring to their lives, will be motivated to adopt dogs from their local shelters, humane societies or rescue groups. Contact the NEA Humane Society at (870) 932/5185 to arrange "lending" of a cat or dog for this event!
