by becoming a member or volunteer
Your paid membership in the NEAHS will help provide vital funds used to continue our services and activities. We have several levels of membership which provide different levels of benefits:
- For $35.00, you receive a basic membership which entitles you to a 10% discount or other special offers from participating area restaurants.
- The V.I.P. membership of $50.00 includes a 10% discount at participating area veterinarians as well as a 10% discount or other special offers from participating area restaurants. Click here to view the list.
- We are very dependent on funds raised from memberships. Please help us by becoming a member or giving someone a gift membership.
Joining is easy! Simply click the link on the left side of the page for a printable membership form. Print it out from your browser, fill it out and mail it in along with your personal check for the level of membership you choose.

Volunteer
Since most of our budget must be used for staffing and maintaining our shelter, volunteers comprise a vital part of our organization. Helping out at the shelter, organizing and participating with fundraisers and working on the various community programs such as PAWS are possible only with the help of dedicated volunteers who give freely of their limited time and seemingly boundless energy to help take care of the animals and to reach out and educate the public.
You Can Help!
By volunteering, you can become an important part of the lives and well-being of our charges and obtain a well-deserved feeling of satisfaction for enriching the community and helping those unwanted ones living in cages, whose only crime was simply being born.
