A new year of Shelter Challenge has begun on the Animal Rescue Site and you can help the NEA Humane Society win money simply by visiting this Web site every day and voting for us.
Eighty-five grants will be awarded for a total of $100,000 to eligible Petfinder.com members. Final prizes will go to the eligible Petfinder.com organization with the highest cumulative vote for the duration of the challenge.
Voting began Jan. 18th, and ends at midnight (PST) on April 18th. The more votes we can rally, the better chance we have of winning. Every vote, every day counts. Shelters can pull ahead even during the last few days with enough support. Get your friends involved. You can vote once a day per internet account, so you can vote once at home and once at work, or wherever else you have a different account.
You can check our standing at their website, so we can tell where we are with respect to the other shelters.
Organizations with the most votes may receive one of two weekly prizes of $1,000; a grand prize of $10,000; one of three honorable mentions of $3,000 or a state prize of $1,000. The Wynne shelter has won the state prize for the last two years.
It costs nothing to participate and no registration is required, so please take just a moment to help make a difference.
