Volunteer Hours
Learn More

  • Call and make an appointment
  • Individuals may come Monday through Saturday from 8:30 to noon to volunteer.
  • Groups of volunteers need to call several days in advance to schedule a time.
  • You will want to wear clothes you don't mind to get dirty and shoes that can get wet.
  • As always, if the volunteer is 16 or under, they must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian.
Keep in mind, we have many events throughout the year for which we can always use volunteers (Easter bake sale, dinner & auction, etc.). We will post on our Facebook page when we need volunteers for special events or projects.

How Volunteering Enriches Your Life

Volunteer work is a beautiful way to extend your help to those in need. As a non-profit organization, we're always in need of caring individuals and teams devoted to bettering the lives of all animals. Volunteer work deepens one's sense of perspective and gratitude; doing good actually makes us feel good. Not to mention, the impact of your efforts does not go unnoticed by Northeast Arkansas Humane Society or our loving animals. Volunteering can also have benefits for your education and career. Many school programs require volunteer hours to meet requirements.
