Accessibility Statement
Northeast Arkansas Humane Society (NEAHS)
Last updated: 10/1/26
NEAHS is committed to making neahs.org accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities.
What We've Done
Our website has been built and reviewed with accessibility in mind, including:

• Alt text describing images for screen readers

• Sufficient color contrast between text and backgrounds

• Keyboard navigation support throughout the site, including menus and forms

• A site structure designed to work with assistive technology

We used Wix's Accessibility Wizard as part of our review process, alongside a manual review of contrast, alt text, and keyboard navigation.
Ongoing Effort
Accessibility is not a one-time fix. As we add new content, pages, and features to our site, we aim to maintain and improve accessibility over time.
